Everlasting Righteousness

Christ came to bring in an everlasting righteousness. God might justly have made an end of the sin by making an end of the sinner. But Christ found out another way, and so made an end of sin as to save the sinner from it, by providing a righteousness for him.

We are all guilty before God, and shall be condemned as guilty, if we have not a righteousness wherein to appear before him. Had we stood, our innocence would have been our righteousness, but, having fallen, we must have something else to plead, and Christ has provided us a plea. The merit of his sacrifice is our righteousness, with this we answer all the demands of the law; Christ has died, yes, rather, has risen again. This Christ is the Lord our righteousness, for he is made of God unto us righteousness, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

By faith we apply this to ourselves and plead it with God, and our faith is imputed to us for righteousness (Rom. 4:3,5). This is an everlasting righteousness. It was from everlasting in the counsels of it, and will be to everlasting in the consequences of it. The application of it was from the beginning, for Christ was the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world, and it will be to the end, for he is able to save to the uttermost. It is of everlasting virtue.

Correction. Of a Biblical quotation. Everlasting righteousness. Daniel 12.10. Many shall be purified, and made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, Bu the wise shall understand. I love this scripture, once we come to Christ humbled in prayer, in love, and love being the greatest commandment. 1 Corinthians 13:13. This scripture I came to love, when I heard Dr.ford repeat the whole chapter. Jesus never fails. And he is tenderly call is to hold on to what we have so that nothing, no one snatch his love from us. In Luke 5;32. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Dr. Des song. Turn your eyes upon Jesus!! Look fully in his wonderful face Amen ?

And this will be due to si. But as quoted above by Dr. Ford. God knows all things a head of us. Psalms 5: 4-5. God does not take pleasure in wickedness, neither shall evil dwell with Gid. Therefore he gave us his son to atone for our sins. John3:16. And bt faith in Christ, we shall be lead into righteousness, through his blood. It is through understanding the meaning of the gospel, by allowing the holy spirit to lead us, through a long the way, and by gaining of wisdom to know, why to God offered his son. Daniel:10. Only the wise will understand. Jeremiah 31:8. God will write his law in our hearts if we are kin to follow Christ and confess our sins, and then our sins will not be remembered. (will be forgiven). A natural man can never achieve righteousness. 1corithians2:14., only through Christ And in the end, one can repeat apostle Paul s words. 2 timothy 4:7. I have fought a good fight, I have finished the race ? I have kept the faith.. This are words of a righteous man. Amen Dr. Ford this is your song. Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look fully in his wonderful face...
