Don’t Fall Asleep at The Wheel of Life

God has given each one of us on journey through this world, and he has a destination that he’s prepared for you.
Some years back I was driving in Chile in the early hours of the meeting. I’d been driving all day and I was feeling tired and sleepy.
Suddenly I woke to find a large grey shadow start to move across the front of the car. I slammed on the brakes with the scary realisation that I’d been having a microsleep!
I watched in disbelief as the donkey finished walking across the front of my car, with disastrous pictures of what might have happened – to donkey, me and my passengers.
We were in the middle of the desert, but I pulled over, slumped down right there in the drivers’ seat and got some rest. And I promised myself that I would never again drive long distances at night.
God has given each one of us on journey through this world, and he has a destination that he’s prepared for you. Remember: Don’t fall asleep at the wheel of life.
