It Ain’t Over Til It’s Over

If you’re with Jesus, every ending is just a new beginning in disguise.
When I was a kid, we had some chihuahuas; you know, those little yappy dogs? Anyway, one day we heard this awful sound in the garage and we found that the dogs had holed up a cat in the corner.
By the time we got to the cat, it was dead; probably died of fright.
So I went to bury it in a hole I dug in the garden. I put it in and threw a shovel of dirt on top.
Well! As soon as I did that, the cat gave an almighty screech and jumped about a metre straight up.
That taught me an important lesson. Often, when we think it’s the end, it isn’t really.
Life is full of what look like endings. But often those endings aren’t really endings at all.
Actually, if you’re with Jesus, every ending is just a new beginning in disguise. And that’s a great reason to jump for joy!
